Professional Throw Pillow Workshop

$135 per student (class fee includes piping and zipper)
Polyfil inserts are $20 each

Learn how to make a professional 18" throw pillow with piping and zipper. We will start with the proper way to block fabric onto grain, learn how to measure/mark fabric cuts, how to install a zipper and apply piping/welt. You will complete a custom pillow to take home.

You will bring your own domestic sewing machine and thread.
You must know how to sew using your own sewing machine, know how to thread your machine and make a bobbin.
Bring a zipper foot OR a welt/piping foot that will accommodate 5/32" piping.
Bring 1 yard of 54" wide SOLID fabric. If you want to do contrast piping/welt, bring an additional 1/2 yard of 54" wide fabric. Unsprung has fabric available for purchase for $10 per yard. Bring your fabric at signup to make sure it is appropriate. Make sure your sewing machine can handle the weight of your fabric.

Learn how to make a professional 6" X 14" bolster pillow with piping and zipper. We will start with the proper way to block fabric onto grain, learn how to measure/mark fabric cuts, how to install a zipper and apply piping/welt. You will complete a custom pillow to take home.

You will bring your own domestic sewing machine and thread.
You must know how to sew using your own sewing machine, know how to thread your machine and make a bobbin.

Professional Bolster Pillow Workshop

Professional Cushion Cover Workshop

$135 per student (class fee includes drapery lining, piping and zipper)

This is a skills-based class.

You will learn the professional way to duplicate a boxed cushion with drapery lining.

You will learn how to measure your existing cushion, cut fabric, install a zipper and apply piping/welt. You will complete a sample cushion cover to take home.

You will bring your own domestic sewing machine and thread.
You must know how to sew using your own sewing machine, know how to thread your machine and make a bobbin.
Bring a zipper foot OR a welt/piping foot that will accommodate 5/32" piping.
Bring a chair cushion or sofa cushion to work from
